During my 10 years of website optimization, I was working with about 50 websites (My own). I quickly learned one very important thing: No one comes to a website to be entertained, or to see fancy flash and animation. People come to a website for one reason, and one reason only: to get information.
With this in mind, I built simple & functional websites. I concentrated on usability, and on offering information in a straightforward manner.
